Scouting is a member-based organisation all around the globe. Scouts Australia is a member of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement. Currently, there are approximately 60,000 Australian children, adolescents and young adults leading, supported by roughly 15,000 Australian adults.

The Warnbro Sound Scout Group is a member of Scouts WA, which is a member of Scouts Australia. Active membership is what powers Scouting. To express your interest in a member of your family joining the Warnbro Sound Scout Group – Joey Scouts (five to seven years), Cub Scouts (eight to 10 years), Scouts (11 to 14 years),and Venturer Scouts (15 to 17 years) are the age sections that the Group offers.

What’s important to know before I volunteer with Scouts WA?
Scouts WA has a strict child safety policy. We screen all our adult volunteers, and you will be required to complete a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Clearance.
The Scouts WA Head Office team can assist with these processes, and they are important to keep our youth members safe.
Scouts WA is all inclusive, and we welcome all people who care about youth development, to get involved.
You don’t have to have been a Scout to become an adult volunteer with Scouts WA!
